Q: Where are you located?

Brisbane: On the In-bound city side of Ipswich Road. Next to ReMax and Thai Restaurant.

Townsville: On the In-Bound City side of Flinders Street, on the block right before the Flinders Street Mall, between a Thai Restaurant and AV Design.

Q:What are you trading hours?
A: Townsville 8:30 - 5pm monday to friday
A: Brisbane 9: 00 am - 5:00 pm monday to friday and 9:00 - 12:00 saturday

Q) can anyone bring in machines for repair?
A) Yes, whether you’re a home user or a large company or a school or univirsty.

Q) my iPhone, iPad,or iPods’ glass is cracked or broken, how long does it take to repair.
a) Most glass repairs are done on the spot while you wait ( depending on parts availability)

Q) I am in charge of school or university, large organisation, can i get someone to pick up broken machines.
A) Yes for regular centralised pickups we can definitely arrange a simple system where your organization can call us or send us an email on

Q) I have a broken machine and extended warranty that is not apple can you fix it?
we do a lot of work with insurance and warranty companies so just drop it in and get your cutomer service rep to give us a call and we expediate the repair

Q)How often should i get my machine serviced.
A) we recomend your machine should come in for an all points service check every 6 mths.

Q) can the macdoctors help me source and upgrade my machine
A) absolutely,

Q) I am looking for someone to help with a back up solution what can you do?
A) from small data backup drives to large corporate raid and nas solutions, we love backup. send us an email, and we will help work out a custom solution for you.

Q. Does my apple warrenty cover software problems or data backup.
a)  Apple warranty does not cover software issues, for a small charge we can do this for you.

How long will my repair take.
Most diagnose is completed between 24 - 48 hours & most repairs are completed within 72 hours. work days. Some repairs can be done sooner depending on parts availability .

q) does my apple care warranty cover accidental dents or physical  damage?
a) no

Q: Do you charge by the hour for non warranty items in store.
a:  We have fixed up front pricing, so you know from the beginning there are no hidden costs.

Q: My machine is under warranty can i get my machine diagnosed and take my machine/ipod/ipad until the part or replacement has arrived.
 No unforatnatly due to apple world wide  policy once a machine / device had parts ordered we must ship the faulty part back as soon as new one arrives, so the machine must remain on premises.

Q: i have a problem with my machine and it is under warranty don’t you just have parts you can stick in the machine.
a: No. Apple records via serial number every signal component in your machine and for apple warranty purposes we must wait to receive the part from apple so they can update their system. Most parts
under warranty take between 24- 48 hours to arrive.

Q: Can I transfer my music from my iPod to my Computer?
No, but we can back up your iPod music to an external drive or DVDs for a small cost.

I have had my ipod repalced under warranty do i get another 12 mths coverage.
No, your warranty continues from the original purchase date of your original warranty.

Q: Can I purchase parts from you?
Unfoftunatly under apples agreement with all service providers in Australia we are unable to sell parts diretly to public without installing and testing them.

Q How will you notify me of the status of my repair.
A: we have an automated system so as your machine progress through the repair process you will be notified via sms and email.

QI have sourced my own part and would like to have you fit it, is this possible?
A: yes. but you will be charged upfront for installation and we  take no responabilty for the quality of the part.
If for some reason the part is faulty and  would like us then to unistall the part additional charges may apply.  All Mac Doctors parts and labour are always guaranteed.

Q: I have had my password reset what is it again?
A: When we reset any passwords we leave it blank so you can change it at your connivance.

Q I have been give this case number from apple can you look it up.
unfortunately no, the case number is simply a reference number from apple that confirms you have spoken to Apple Customer Care call centre. The call centre satff  are not technicans and we will need to thougrthy examine your machine on presentation
